Bound and unbound font of writing in primary school

The thesis deals with the type of font of hand writing which is taught at the elementary schools it the Czech Republic its main symbols and methods of the font rating. In the theoretical part I define the basic concepts, introduces the history, development of writing, actual methods of teaching of hand writing at the elementary schools and the overview of exercise books for practicing of the very first hand writing. In the practical part, I find out using a questionnaire according to which criteria the teachers evaluate children's hand writing. The research part contains written work of children. I analyze the texts where I evaluate qualitative features (shape, size, gradient, binding, modification) of bound and unbound font of writing in the third grade of elementary school. To improve writing skills, I suggest specific didactic utilities, release exercises, act. Electronic books at VŠE

The master dissertation Electronic books at VSE is focused on analysing the opportunities of e-books in the environment of VSE. The aim is to describe the current state of different study materials used at VSE and to explore different ways of improving them using e-book technology. The dissertation briefly describes various attributes of e-books with stress on the relevant attributes -- the possibility of inserting notes, bookmarks, multimedia and interactive content. Also the possibility of editing the content and sharing resulting changes with other students is a key attribute. The dissertation then moves on to describe the different kinds of study materials that are in use at VSE. The second half of the dissertation builds on previous analysis of the study materials and introduces a hypothetical optimal state, which could result from implementing e-book technology. This state is the answers the question of what is actually possible to achieve. The next chapter in this half is the technical analysis, which answers the question of how is it possible to achieve the suggested hypothetical state. The conclusion of this dissertation answers the questions whether the proposed solution is a viable candidate for implementation. The results of this dissertation could be used as a guideline for the project of implementation of e-book technology in the environment of VSE.
Marketing mix - project of a textbook for business academies

The thesis deals with project of a textbook for business academies. The theme of the chapter of the textbook is marketing mix. The project is made in such a way the students get total information on these problems. The extant of the theme is intended for students of higher classes. The project consists of theoretical part (textbook, exercise book) and practical part (teaching at business academy).
Mathematical preparation of pupils in primary school to secondary school

The theoretical part of this Diploma Thesis covers the subject matter of the 5th grade primary level pupils. This subject matter is further on divided into several chapters with some standard exercises included. The practical part contains an exercise book which is addressed to 5th grade primary level pupils. This part basically shows some mathematical exercises to which are pupils exposed when sitting for an entrance exam at grammar school. As for the next part of this Diploma Thesis there is the research which deals with testing some of those mathematical exercises in practice.
Southern Africa - didactic text for second level of the Primary Schools and lower classes of the long-term Grammar Schools

The object of this work is to propose the teaching text about the region of "South Africa" for second level of the Primary Schools and lower classes of the long-term Schools. The teaching text is getting from valid education documents and didactic appreciation of the current textbooks and exercise books destined for the above mentioned types of schools, including one German textbook. The proposal of an exercise book, which support the teaching text, is added. There are also included methodics of didactic analysis of textbooks and methodics of creating teaching text in this thesis.
Marketing mix of publishing house named PIEROT

Work is structured into two units. First, theoretical unit refers to elaboration of a given problem with the help of literary resources. Practical part revers to problem of marketing mix in application on one of the publishing houses on the Czech market with the focus on educational literature; more precisely on exercise book for the last year of pre-school education and students of 1-4 grade of primary school. Work introduces reader into the history of publishing and describes specificities of publishing market. The aim of this work is to explore separate components of marketing mix with the focus on price and communication of the product. However, for the complexity of marketing mix there can not be left out elements of product and distribution. The end of the work draws up separate findings and outlines possible improvements and new forms of publications propagation.
